Description

Bronzol [Bronze + Sol]

Species: Solar Calendar
Type: Steel/Psychic
Ability: Levitate / Heatproof
Height/Weight: 8'00", 800lbs

Description: According to a recently-discovered script, the people of an ancient civilization worshiped Bronzol as the "Bringer of the Sun". It reads that it dragged the star across the sky with its many arms each day.

Perplexing many scientists to this day, Bronzol is able to conjure fire from it's very core, despite being composed of metal. Even the disc that houses its arms defies reality, being smaller than the extensions themselves. (These details have led to a vast amount of theories, others believe Bronzol is a link to the divine.)

Ancient Sundial -- Empowers Fire-Type Moves (Fire Moves x1.5)

-----

Notes:
Naturally, as I grew up playing this series, it was bound to occur sooner or later. Yes, I am going to submit something PKMN related every now and then. Mostly to keep this page somewhat active.

Bronzong has been on my list of necessary evolutions for quite some time, and as such I have created one I see fit. The constant mention of old civilizations, weather manipulation, and the such have screamed for a tie-in with Aztec/Mayan/Japanese culture. (The sun being an important element of each living long ago.)

The overall strategy of use switches from Defensive to Offensive with the new moveset. I've decided that once you evolve Bronzong, all the previous moves will no longer be accessible via the Move Retrainer (or whoever), seeing as how it's Base Defenses more than make up for a lack of many Support Moves. Hopefully, the small addition in Base (Sp.)Attack offsets the absurd amount of armor, keeping it from being considered broken.

Even so, Power Trick would allow you to sacrifice your status as a fortress to completely sweep an opponent for old time's sake. Besides, if you have enough resolve to train Bronzol to the higher levels, you (probably) deserve it.

Also, it's only possible to obtain the Ancient Sundial once in the game at a precise location and time. Once you've evolved Bronzong while holding the item, it's gone, so make it count.

My god, two entire years in development. I'm glad to have finally posted this creation.
